A bunch of us Peace
Corpers climbed to
the top of Mt. Elgon,
along the Kenya and
Uganga border.

I remember thinking
it might be nice to
look under some
rocks for something
to breathe. The air
was thin up there, and
it can be COLD on
the equator! The top
of Mt. Elgon is 4322
meters (14,178 feet)!
